Midterm- Bunker
For my bunker level I wanted it to feel aged with time, so I used rusted metal materials to emphasize an older abandoned feel to it. My orangish lighting is also meant to help with an older feel, as well as the flickering lights. For the sound of the spinning fans I recorded myself and increased the bass tones and reverb to mimic the sound of an actual fan. I also discovered decals on my search for models, and implemented some of them into the level to give environments a bit more variety. For example, there are splotches of dirt, chunks of wood, and graffiti in which I think help bring the level more together. When I think of a bunker I immediately picture pipes and metal, so I included those into the level as well. Functionality wise the fans spin, and a door can be unlocked with a key. If the player doesn't have a key, then a widget will pop up informing the players to find one. There are also other places where players can interact with widgets.
