This game contains traps you must overcome and a puzzle blocking the entrance of the treasure room. This game features swinging hammer-like objects, falling ceilings, and death spikes to add a challenge. The puzzle with pressure plates takes inspiration from the Zelda games with an added looming danger of a collapsing ceiling while trying to solve it. Personally, I have always been a fan of puzzle and trap filled games which are the inspirations behind these concepts.
The setting takes place in a ruin where I added fire sounds to the torches, pillars, and a treasure room filled with golden eggs plus the end game treasure. You can find a companion's dialogue in the top left-hand corner who will make comments if you trigger traps or do other things. (Music in video is not in game.) You play as an explorer trying to get access to the treasure of the ruins.
The code is very focused on moving objects with timelines and references between blueprints to make pressure plates activate/open doors or enable traps. How the pressure plates work is that you must push an object onto them in order to unlock the door. All plates must be activated, and they will reset once you step off them. Except for the trap plate which triggers the falling ceiling.
The game can be played simply by using AWSD (for moving), Space Bar (to jump), and the mouse (to look around).
